I could be totally wrong here so anyone feel free to correct me (politely that is lol) but,įrom what i remember reading up on the matter its a combination of A) they have an unsigned software signature (I.E not from a big corperation etc having been coded by someone in their basement for all we know) which can raise flags and B) some but not all from what i recall used a form of virus (this one applies specifically to cracks) that is coded to target something very specific thus cracking the game or other program allow you to play that pirated copy. I am wondering why do software "keygens" and "cracks" are flagged as viruses by Antiviruses when most of the time everyone say it's false positives?
